ImmuneO2

Train Your Immune System—Not Just Support It

ImmuneO₂ is a targeted oxygen training protocol designed to activate immune signaling, improve circulation, and accelerate recovery during stress, illness, or immune compromise.

  • Stimulates immune response through adaptive oxygen contrast
  • Improves oxygen delivery to immune-dense tissues
  • Validated in real time using SpO₂ response

Protocol Overview

Goal
Immune Modulation — does not overtly up-regulate immunity. von Ardenne reported 17% up-regulation in lymphocytes and measurable increases in motility. Detoxification — Sweat eliminates many toxins. Avascular Tissue Oxygenation — Elevated temperatures reduce oxygen affinity for hemoglobin.
When Used
As follow-up to any other LiveO2 usage guide. In response to immune challenge. After suspected exposure to infectious agents. After airline travel. At early sign of infectious condition. After exposure to environmental toxins. In support of chronic joint discomfort.
Detox Intensity
Medium — tends to create elevated heart rate for several hours afterwards.
Time
5 minutes to tolerance
Frequency
Daily recommended
Typical Response
Improved immune function. Increased body odor indicates detox. May provoke immune rally at 48 hours.
Relative Performance
This usage guide generally yields about 200–300% increase in the effects of the LiveO2 First Time usage guide.

The ImmuneO₂™ Method:

  • Combine supplemental oxygen breathing with hyperthermia (heat exposure)
  • Simulate fever-like immune up-regulation to support natural immune function
  • Leverage the Bohr Effect to increase hemoglobin oxygen release in heated tissues

This protocol, and LiveO2, are not intended to treat, mitigate or cure any specific disease or health condition. It is specifically intended to increase oxygen available to cells and to support optimal immune function. More on LiveO2 Intended Use.

How It Works

Use of supplemental oxygen with hyperthermia simulates the physiology including immune up-regulation that occurs during a fever. Supplemental oxygen during hyperthermia increases hemoglobin oxygen release in hyperthermic tissues.

Oxygen-Hemoglobin Dissociation Curve

The Oxygen-Hemoglobin Dissociation Curve illustrates how temperature affects oxygen release from hemoglobin. When body temperature increases (hyperthermia), hemoglobin releases oxygen more readily into surrounding tissues.

This is known as the Bohr Effect — elevated temperature shifts the curve to the right, meaning more oxygen is delivered to tissues at any given partial pressure of oxygen.

Oxygen-Hemoglobin Dissociation Curve

Immune Up-Regulation via Hyperthermia

By combining supplemental oxygen with heat exposure, ImmuneO₂ creates conditions that mimic the body’s natural fever response. This promotes immune up-regulation without the stress of actual illness.

The elevated temperature enhances detoxification through sweat while simultaneously improving oxygen delivery to avascular tissues that are normally difficult to reach.

Hyperthermia

Elevate body temperature using a sauna to simulate fever conditions and trigger immune up-regulation.

Supplemental Oxygen

Breathe oxygen-enriched air during heat exposure to maximize oxygen delivery to hyperthermic tissues.

Detoxification

Enhanced sweat response eliminates toxins while increased oxygen supports cellular repair and immune function.

The Science

Research supporting the combination of supplemental oxygen and hyperthermia for immune modulation and detoxification.

Key Findings

Oxygen Multistep Therapy documented significant physiological changes when combining oxygen with hyperthermia:

Increase in oral body temperature to 40°C
Leukocyte count increased by 17%, ±7%
Measurable increases in lymphocyte motility

Protocol Validation

Confirm results through traditional blood panels and microscopic lymphocyte motility analysis.

Blood Panel Validation

ImmuneO2 Validation - Blood Analysis

Validation can be confirmed with a traditional blood panel. Take a blood test before starting, use the protocol daily for at least one week, then follow up with another blood test to measure changes in immune markers.

Lymphocyte Motility

For microscopic validation, compare lymphocyte motility before and after a session. Differences in lymphocyte activity are normally observable immediately under microscopy.

Validation Steps:

  • 1 Take a baseline blood panel before starting the protocol
  • 2 Use the ImmuneO₂ protocol daily for at least one week
  • 3 Follow up with another blood test to compare results
  • 4 Compare lymphocyte motility via microscopy for immediate feedback

Frequently Asked Questions

ImmuneO2 requires a LiveO2 system (Standard, Adaptive Contrast, or Extreme) combined with a heat source such as the ImmuneO2 Sauna. The protocol combines supplemental oxygen breathing with hyperthermia to achieve its immune-supporting effects.
Elevated body temperature simulates a fever response, which naturally up-regulates immune function. When combined with supplemental oxygen, the elevated temperature causes hemoglobin to release more oxygen into tissues (the Bohr Effect), supporting both immune function and detoxification.
Sessions are typically 5 minutes to tolerance. The protocol tends to create an elevated heart rate for several hours afterwards, which suggests ongoing detoxification activity.
This protocol is not intended to treat, mitigate, or cure any specific disease or health condition. It is specifically intended to increase oxygen available to cells and to support optimal immune function. Please consult with a healthcare professional before starting any new health protocol.
Validation can be confirmed with a traditional blood panel. Take a blood test before starting, use the protocol daily for at least one week, then follow up with another blood test.
