Medical Disclosure: Hyperbaric Therapy is a Medical Treatment. The patient is placed in a pressurized chamber under medical supervision. Hyperbaric treatments normally takes about 2 hours to pressurize, treat and depressurize in a hard or soft the chamber. Soft chambers use a pressure of 1.4 ATM while hard medical chambers to up to 2.5 ATM. Hyperbaric therapy is intended to treat medical conditions. The patient is captive during the medical procedure and may experience issues during pressurization and depressurization. LiveO2 is NOT a Medical Device. Live user exercises on stationary exercise equipment wearing a mask. LiveO2 supplies a alternating supply of low or high oxygen air to the mask. The user is not captive in a chamber, and there is no external pressure. LiveO2 requires the user to exercise or use a sauna. LiveO2 is not intended to be used alone. Users must be able bodied enough to tolerate some physical challenge.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is LiveO2?

LiveO2 uses Adaptive Contrast to switch between an oxygen-rich and oxygen-reduced air environment. This encourages maximum blood flow and oxygenation in your body while you exercise. The oxygen is absorbed and distributed through your respiratory and cardiovascular system. Switching between low and high oxygen environments allows your lungs to gather more oxygen than breathing at a normal air pressure.

What is Oxygen Therapy?

In a hyperbaric oxygen chamber, you breathe pure oxygen at a higher air pressure. The pressure allows your lungs to gather more oxygen than breathing at a normal air pressure.

Why don’t I need a prescription for LiveO2?

LiveO2 is an upgrade part an exercise system. LiveO2 is intended to maximize health by optimizing the efficiency of natural breathing. It is not intended to treat, cure, or mitigate any disease. Unlike a hyperbaric oxygen chamber you are not captive, or under pressure which may create risks. During hyperbaric therapy, you may experience some moderate ear during pressure changes.

How will I feel after LiveO2 vs. hyperbaric?

Most users feel very calm, alert and energized after using LiveO2. Training less than 15 minutes tends to decrease fatigue and soreness. After hyperbaric you will most likely feel relaxed, muscle soreness remains unchanged, fatigue may decrease slightly.

How long is a session of LiveO2 vs. hyperbaric?

A LiveO2 session lasts only 15 minutes. A hyperbaric session lasts 120 minutes. Experienced hyperbaric users say that LiveO2 works immediately while to hyperbaric takes a long time. They feel the effects of LiveO2 right away as clarity, energy, focus and an improved sense of well being. With hyperbaric, you may need 30-90 hours before you feel the benefits, that LiveO2 creates in about one hour of use.

How can LiveO2 be non-medical if a Hyperbaric Chamber is a medical device?

Hyperbaric chambers are intended to be used for treatment of medical conditions. This makes them medical devices. LiveO2 is only intended to increase the effect of exercise device and it is only to be used with exercise. This divergences from statutory distinctions which make Hyperbaric devices medical, and enable LiveO2 to be classified as an exercise device:
  1. FDA statutes exempt devices that have no intended effect when used alone. LiveO2 is only intended to be used with exercise equipment. Hyperbaric chambers are used alone.
  2. LiveO2 provides the user a choice of air during exercise and all effects are enhanced results of exercise. The effects and intent of use is never under control of the manufacturer. Intent of use is purely determined by the user. The user may choose to exercise within a strategy that sends more blood and oxygen to the brain, or other organ systems depending on the user’s goals.
  3. The choice of effects, and therefore the intent, is up to the the actions of the user.
  4. Here is the detailed statutory analysis.
  5. Here is an intended use statement.
  6. If you feel we we have represented LiveO2 as a medical device please tell us in the form.
