Tricia D. — ALS Session Case Study
Speech and gait recorded before and after one 15-minute LiveO2 session at the Heal ALS Conference, plus a Day 2 follow-up.
Tricia was a volunteer at the Heal ALS Conference. She followed the same protocol as every participant: her speech and walking were recorded on camera, she trained on LiveO2 for 15 minutes, and the same tests were recorded again.
The clips below are those recordings. What she says about the difference — in her own words — follows underneath.
Day 1 — Speech Test

Both clips are the same standardized tongue-twister test, recorded before and after.
Day 1 — Mobility / Gait Test

Day 2 — Follow-up

Recorded the next day to see whether the change held overnight.
In Tricia’s own words
“My gait feels more natural. Look at my arms — they’re by my sides and the walk is more fluid. I’m not feeling the foot drop or the lag… And my speech feels faster, more fluid.”
“I miss dancing.”
“The little micro-adjustments you do to avoid a collision are often what throws me off, and I’ll fall. So I just handled that.”
— Tricia D., in the after-session and Day 2 recordings
