Adaptive Contrast alternates oxygen-rich and oxygen-reduced breathing while you exercise. The alternation is the mechanism — it asks the oxygen transport system to respond to changing demand instead of holding one steady state. Effort is set by the athlete, from an easy spin to full high-intensity intervals.
Why It Fits an Athlete With That Range
An athlete who races Ironman and obstacle events is managing two competing demands: aerobic capacity deep into a long event, and the ability to recover between repeated hard efforts. Both come back to how efficiently oxygen reaches working tissue and how quickly metabolic byproducts clear.
